Humpback Whale

This whale was carved in ebony wood for the Puffin, an 80’ boat. It was hung in the Puffin's stateroom at eye level on bird’s eye maple along with 5 other bronze whales. Easily recognized, humpbacks are well known for their breaching and flipper slapping. They range around the world in ten geographically distinct populations.  A mirrored edition of this casting is also available.
